To Cut in a Straight Line

This is very helpful information. I struggled for a long time when I was first learning, because I would see leather folks on KZbin doing it how you first showed but NOT messing up- I’d try it and ALWAYS did- just like you showed. Then l did it like you suggested and it works every time.

Yes had problems with the straight edge moving on me before. Now I cut like you demonstrated on the video.

Better yet get a roll of rug tape, not carpet tape, cut it to size with scissors and attach to the bottom of the straight edge. It will not move and you can make a perfect cut.
