I think like in the first phase the Hundred-Eyed is like believing in himself too much and his treathering and powerful form will outsmart the Destined One and the theme is like more treacherous and slow but when he notice that the Destined One is actually winning he unleash his true power, the Dao Watch. All his eyes observe the Destined One as he now uses only brute force and powerful lighting strikes and the theme is more aggressive and make him truly treathering and like pissed off but then thr Destined One uses the Needle and his eyes get hurted, after that he becomes more aggressive and desperate and trying whit all his strengh to kill the Destined One and the music is triumphant and beautiful.

This is the only boss in the whole game that gave me trouble. 3:43 onwards played on repeat in a bad dream when I went to bed without beating him

@@MrBoegela yeah. He took me 3 tries. That fan you get eats his shield up instantly, and I had that drink that restores Qi, so I destroyed him once I learned to dodge his attacks. Hell, I had an easier time with Wukong at the end
