Also, I love your gem stone wrap! Can't wait to knit it (hopefully in test knit, but if not, when it's released)!!

Thank you for all the beauty and inspiration you put into this episode ❤ I have it the same, there is no coming back to stright neddles once you used circulars 😊 however I use only wooden or bamboo because I hate the metal clicking.

Love the Light Gems Wrap! It’s so elegant❤. I started as a weaver before I was a knitter and I think you have done a great job capturing woven herringbone in knitted form! I am also a a dyer and spinner and I always let the excitement take me in any of my fiber crafts. If I love a fiber and have the urge to spin it, I go with it, even if it’s a fiber that might be above my experience level. We do this for the love and joy of the colors and textures of the fibers so why deny yourself that? Build yourself a “stash “ of handspun to pull from the same as any other yarn imo. Love all your designs, colors and aesthetic!

Thank you! It’s been a really fun fabric to work on and I really want to get a floor loom one day but for now my “fake” woven fabric will do haha 😆 I love your approach to working with the fiber that brings you joy! Thank you for being here

Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts, inspirations and talents with us. Always look forward to your podcasts and see what you are up to. Because of you I have been introduced to the Miss Evil's KURA SOCKS.. ( Hahah. Love the name!) Your colour aesthetic is pleasing too. Makes me want to try something different. But also, I am a beginner knitter and a dreamer. Kudos on your creative podcasts!!

Hi Bella ! I have the same issue… love the spinning part and don’t know what to make with it afterwards… lol .. but I still find it will make something one day ! Actually, I keep my spinned yarn in a basket and looking at it for the past few days I am considering making a dress with it for next winter .. I have spunned mostly nutiden fibers fingering weight and I find they all complement each other !

The top of the Today Baret reminds me of a snowflake. ❄️ It would look great in Christmas red or green, glittery white or silver, I think. I’ll definitely need to get your pattern!

Thank you! Absolutely - any fingering/sport weight yarn would work perfectly. And if it is a fiber blend that naturally has drape to it - like maybe if it includes silk or alpaca - even better!

Why not design a purse for your spinning knits? Would the more “toothy” ones work for that? It would be something different…

Your garments and designs are very beautiful. But I feel like after all of the podcasts of yours that I’ve watched, it’s like looking through a soft focus lens filter. Your colors are all pretty much the same. As a young woman, I encourage you to explore reds, bright green, chartreuse, fuchsia! There are so many creative Indie dyers who have beautiful skeins of variegated or speckled yarn , mixing together colors that you would not expect, and resulting in a dramatic color way.

Her aesthetic is similar to mine. I prefer soft colors over bright bold colors. I can’t imagine her sweater patterns in bright green. I love the new wrap and would never spend a long time knitting that in trendy colors.

I prefer my own garments to be in wilder, brighter, louder colors, but I think that podcasters do right to stick with light, neutral-ish hues. It drives me crazy when a podcaster displays something in a dark or heavily variegated yarn that doesn’t allow me to see stitch detail. If I can’t see the design, why would I want to knit it? Although Bella’s color choices don’t necessarily work for me, I’m grateful that I can easily make out the details. Good on you, Bella!
