I think it is the Hungarian style to only share feelings when they are very strong. It's something I really like about Hungarians. If they say they love you and they are happy to see you, you know it is true because they wouldn't say it otherwise :)

Hungarian is the 1st language I’ve learned growing up in Canada 1957; unfortunately has never developed very far. I miss my good family in Hungary and always found it hard to think and communicate in Hungarian, even embarrassing myself trying to translate (ha ha) your videos connect with me and I hope to gain comfort expressing my feelings and ideas in Hungarian to all. Sziszi, its funny to know all those things... I didnt know and i thought my boyfriend was weird at the beginning. I didnt understand why it was so difficult ro talk about feelings. But we have learned from each other our cultural differences. He's Hungarian and I'm Mexican... And i have a job just like the one you had at the airport (which i love ). What a coincidence! 🤭 Hopefully one day we can meet! :)

In my family and in my area it's not common. But many teenage girls use 'I love you' casually. And many of my mother's family as well.

@@HungarianwithSziszi Ahh! Thanks for the clarification. This is something very special -- it adds a friend / sense of humanity to a foreign culture. I feel like new cultures can be so unexpectedly intimidating because if we are learning from afar it can be difficult to really get insight into what it feels like to be human in said culture. Having a friendly face makes it feel like being a child again. P.S. Do you have any music recommendations off the top of your head of music in Hungarian? (or even Spanish for that matter heheh ;3 )

Hey Sziszi, szia!!☺ In Italian too we only say "ti amo" to a partner/spouse/fiancé...it's something that most of the times has an underlying sensual meaning, so we don't say that to a grandmother for example.😄 Maybe sometimes when it's a very, very, very particular situation/relationship/emotional moment...then ok: we may also say ti amo without sensual implications, but it's super rare. Otherwise we say "ti voglio bene" to friends, mum, colleagues, anyone.☺ ...Sorry Sziszi, I forgot to send You a question for Your Q and A video...a question that without a doubt would have been in your previous video, had i sent it in time, azaz: how is Dzsesszika..? 😂🤍 She still has the same hairstyle?👩🙂We miss her, please do a collab again soon!🙃🥰 Take care and thanks for your videos, Sziszi, bye!☺👋

A gyerekeimnek szoktam mondani, főleg kiskorukban. De most is. 44 éves vagyok. 14-16 évesek a gyerekeim. Ők kiskorukban sokat mondták nekünk is, még most is néha. Barátnak, barátnőnek soha nem mondtam. Férjemmel is mondjuk egymásnak. Mondjuk ő sokat élt külföldön.....USA, Brazília....Szüleimnek sem mondom, ők se mondták nekem......nem emlékszem. De mindig dicsértek, megöleltek.....érdekes volt.

I’m autistic so im pretty straightforward and not used to always say I love you. Maybe I should move to Hungary then I would look less weird 😂. Just kidding but it’s interesting to know that in some cultures, being more of an « introvert » or « honest » isn’t seen as being rude.

Nagyon érdekes, köszi ☺️ Nagyon aranyos szó a Habiby, egyébként 😄 Azt észrevettem, hogy sok arab és sok spanyol anyanyelvű is sokszor “drágám”-nak hív magyarul, amikor ír nekem. Ezért gondoltam, hogy az anyanyelvükön normális így becézni bárkit. De magyarul ez nem működik 😅

Jajj ami engem magyarként zavar és lehet sokakat nem érint, mert társkeresőkön kívül nem tudom máshova átterjedt-e, de van hogy magyarok másik magyarnak tök ismeretlenül úgy indítanak egy első beszélgetést, hogy megkérdezik: "Hogy vagy?" Ez engem nagyon nagyon zavar, mert nálunk nincs olyan, hogy egy vadidegentől megkérdezzük "hogy van". Külföldiektől elfogadom, mert tudom ez a szokás, de ha magyar kérdezi az kiakaszt 😅

Az USA-ban elek mar 47 eve. Soha nem szoktam meg az "I love you" allando ismetleset. Szerintem azt nem mondani, hanem mutatni kell. Persze neha en is mondom az amerikai felesegemnek megfelelo pillanatokban.
