People need to understand that helping other people from other countries is not mandatory. We can help, but we don't NEED to! Every leader is responsible for his or her own country's people, not other countries'. The US president is only responsible for the American people, and for the Mexican people, the Mexican president is responsible. People need to understand that being the leader of a country does not mean that you are a super hero that could save all of humanity. The leader's sole purpose is to lead a country. Yes, helping other people is nice, and morally, you should help, but you cannot help others while you ignore your own people's needs. Every leader's top priority must be his or her own country and its own people, nobody else. And one sidenote: If a migrant is searching for a safe country because his/her country is in war, why are they crossing 6-8 safe countries? Turkey is safe, Greece is safe, North Macedonia is safe etc. They are marching towards rich countries like: Germany, France or UK.

Every country in the EU has a veto right to stop new laws and decisions of the EU. Now there are more and more voices pleading to abolish the veto right. Countries as Hungary and Czech republic think different and vote different as the leading powers want.
