There will be no negotiations, not until the US France UK and others stop sending them material support and pull their "advisors" out.. And they stick to gorbachevs deal of the former eastern block countries not becoming nato's front line. not having over 2 dozen big pharma biolabs will help too.

The Ukranians want peace more than anyone. However it takes both sides to agree to peace and as far as I can see only the Ukranians truly want peace.

Peace and negotiations only come with REASONABLE expectations. Firstly, Ukraine's the one who signed a decree of no negotiations with russia, not russia.Secondly, to think russia would simply vacate all regions they took from Ukraine after losing so many soldiers in the name of negotiations is almost non existent.

If you look at the recent past in Ukraine you will realise that Western Ukraine has been in a state of War with Eastern Ukraine Since The USA stuck it's nose in Ukraine's internal affairs A large group of the Ukrainian population want closer ties with the EU And a large number of Ukrainian people want ties with Russia The population of the Donbas in general were glad of the Russian intervention as 14,000 people had been killed by Ukrainian government shelling and bomdardment The only thing is peace talks and trying to square the circle NATO and the Western governments don't care about Ukraine or it's people Depleted uranium munitions to pollute the Ukrainian landscape for years and years to come Cluster munitions to kill The same Cluster munitions that are still Killing innocent people mostly children in Cambodia 50 years later and will kill Ukrainians children still to be born

I see that you have no idea how things are going: if Russia "simply withdraws" (which is practically equivalent to unconditional surrending) the 10 sanctions packages would not automatically be lifted: lifting them again requires voting in the EC + US acceptance, etc. And the demands of the "victorious party" to Russia will come: Example : ".... we will lift 2 packages of sanctions if you organize free elections in Russia, other packages of sanctions if Russia pays XY of hundreds of billions as war damage for Ukraine, ... if they hand over those accused of "war crimes" (with Putin at the head) to the tribunal in The Hague, and so on. So even an amateur like you can understand that Russia cannot automatically withdraw from the war, without prior peace agreements regarding its fate and sanctions packages!
