Big of Hunger Games lore for you-- Tributes that died in early Games were usually left to rot until they called a victor. They ONLY started collecting the dead tributes after one year where a tribute ate some of the bodies of the fallen. It disgusted the Capitol audience so much that from then on the Gamemakers always immediately got rid of any dead bodies in the arena.

i'm pretty sure they collected the bodies well before that point, it's just during titus' games, they had to stun him so they could collect them before he ate them. they canonically left the bodies at least until the 10th games though.

I was thinking this exact same thing!! So her PTSD isn't just for killing 1 person. But the others too. It's also due to the experiences she had in the games.... The bond with Rue, in which Katniss saw her sister Prim within her.... I think its quite emotional about the trauma she has, and you see a greater connection bond between Katniss and Peeta due to their traumas.

Idk if y’all realized by the end of this movie but Katniss actually love Peeta. Over the course of this movie as they get closer she actually falls for him. So she’s telling the truth when she says that she needs him and then kisses him. Thats their first REAL kiss. And her emotions when he almost died were real as well. Thats why shes so upset when she hears that the capital got him.

Just for the guys to know... What Joanna was actually doing was taking the tracker of Katniss arm so the capitol could know where she was after she was taken out of the arena. So part of the whole plan. Joanna is an MVP

The three finger salute originated in District 12 and was meant to be a sort of goodbye. By the other districts joining in, seen as a unification of the districts when the Capitol spent so much time, effort, and money keeping them separate, especially using the Hunger Games to keep the districts distracted from the real enemy.

It's been a year, but I need to say it: yes, the victors' village is just for the victors of District 12. Yes, only Haymitch lived there for a long time, alone because his entire family was killed. And now Peeta and Katniss moved. She took her family with her, obviously. I don't remember if Peeta took his family with him, but I think he didn't, he just moved away, which was good for him because of his abusive mother. His brothers I believe had already moved. Katniss is a trained hunter and killer but she has PTSD. Also, she knew the berries last movie because her father taught her how to survive in the woods, swim and hunt, etc. She is not a Mary Sue, those were her skills and the only thing she wanted was to protect her sister and then come back to her.
