We got another fascinating arctic inhabitant on camera: the snowy owl. Unfortunately, if the number of lemmings keeps dropping, things will get more challenging for them to survive. Not only in terms of starving, but they also don't lay eggs if they don't find enough food, so we might see fewer snowy owls in the future.

I have just turned 70 a few days ago and I have so many memories of watching the above and similar wildlife programme 's on my parents tv as a child now 60+ years on & it's gotten so much worse. The lovely gentleman Mr Attenborough is one of those people who have the knowledge to show the governments of our beautiful planet how to turn things around so that we can all do our best to work in harmony to save us all but if no one listens then I fear that in perhaps a 100 years or less it'll be all over for everyone and every race of man woman and animals.

*Two years ago I visited a place called Churchill in Manitoba Canada. I went on an excursion in an all terrain vehicle called the Tundra Buggy. It was massive. We drove out and saw 4 polar bears, but the highlight came when a large male attacked a seal and got it. That seal had blood spurting out in garden hose size streams everywhere. It was over for him in about 30 seconds. To see it all unfold from 110M away was something I won't ever forget.*

Why the heck do you want to see this, when there is so much beauty and perfection in other things of nature to witness. It is frightening and brutal, and the bear had no choice but to do it this way. The only positive in this was that 30 seconds was not such a long time. For me, witnessing even 5 seconds of this would not be a welcomed experience.

What's wrong with 1080p? Do you have crappy vision? Most people cant tell the difference from 4K -1080p or 1400p. Clear is clear. It would appear you are all hung up on 4K and have it out for the BBC. This video was pure fine quality from start to finish. Be happy.
