That Polar Bear's life makes me wonder what the whole purpose of its existence is. Living in a freezing wasteland, trying to catch enough food to keep it alive, and just doing the same every day - but for what? There must be some end purpose to it all beyond its existence as we see it.

@Gunshot 47 I can't say that every wound will get infected. I did see a documentary a while ago that showed some animals crossing a river. The narrator said the ones that made it past the crocs but still suffered injuries would likely die from infections or be preyed upon when they weakened from it.
@asianpersuasion4901
@asianpersuasion4901 4 жыл бұрын
Gunshot 47 it could be infections from the air, from the dirt on the claws, or dirty water if they wade through a pond. Since animals don’t think of cleaning injuries (usually) they create more chances of becoming infected by numerous factors

JD Q Although it’s true we were a lot stronger back then we probably still couldn’t catch up to deers or buffalos etc. Instead, we used traps to corner the prey. The major shift from that life style is our agriculture and permanent settlements.

@@eriom There were clearly a number of cameras in the seal vs polar bear hunt, and it's a mystery to me how they positioned and operated them without spooking the prey or the predator. Drones are way too intrusive. And even setting this (seemingly insuperable) difficulty to one side, assuming they were fixed cameras, remotely operated: how could they know in advance that the action would take place where it ultimately did? There were clearly a number of cameras, and it's a mystery to me how they could get them in position without spooking the prey or the predator. Even if they were remotely operated. And even setting this (seemingly insuperable) difficulty to one side: ow could they know in advance that the action would take place where it ultimately did?
