I don't know how many times I've ridden those trails. Since the early 70's when I was 13, nothing but trees for the restrooms. When 13 went out Tejon trail got lost had some hikers tell me go that way which was Pirute creek. That trail was frightening. Getting to Gold Hill road was the happiest day of my life. Still remember that ride to this day. My first experience being lost and sweating Gas on my way to big for pre puberty Bultaco 250 Pushang. Had a steel 1 gal gas can bungee'ed to the front forks.

Since no one else mentioned it yet, that mountain biker is fit. It may be an ebike but he's covering a lot of ground very quickly.

He rides neck and neck with the dirt bikes. We beat him uphill, but he smokes us downhill.
