I'm Pakistani (and Persian) but Pakistani and Indian food are similar. So what I wanted say was that Naan (the bread) isn't used to eat with rice, it's used to eat chicken tikka, curries, sauces and anything except for rice. But you could eat all sorts of food in your own way. I hope this helped😊

I just had Indian takeout a few days ago!! My favorite thing to get is chicken biryani and garlic naan, and while the garlic naan IS very garlicky, it is hands down my favorite garlic-flavored carb ever. If I could get garlic naan at an Italian restaurant I SO WOULD. And I'm flat out addicted to biryani, even lamb (though the guilt reflexes in my throat have me choking on it every now and then), but I'm dying for some Pakistani beef biryani in my life. And chicken vindaloo is life! If I don't get biryani, I get vindaloo, mmmm. Anyway, what you had looked amazing and I'm so glad you enjoyed it, and am impressed you can eat Indian food the proper way! I think the thing with eating with your hands is that there isn't any loss of contact between the food and you, you're always in contact with what you're eating and that just intensifies the mental pleasure, making the food taste better than it might with a spoon or a fork. I believe this is why, traditionally, Indians eat the flavourful with their hands! :) Amazing video, by the way!
