I've been to a few over the year's and I would have to say Germany has some pretty incredible xmas markets. But really, anywhere you go in Europe has amazing Christmas markets. Way better than what the U.S gets 😭

I never had mulled beer until I was at the Christmas Market in Krakow. It is amazing! I tried to make it at home, but my hand was different than that of the market and it wasn't as good. I will have to travel back to have more.

I've never considered visiting Poland's Christmas markets, but I'm adding it to my list! Another plus is that it's not as crowded as the German ones. 🤩🎄🇵🇱

Don't hesitate too long as they're getting more popular each year, though thankfully still far from being overcrowded. 😊 Merry Christmas!

It's a pity that they sell red borscht and don't have croquettes with mushrooms or cabbage and mushrooms. The combination of red borscht with bread is definitely strange. I love mulled beer, best with honey. As a child I used to get 2-3 sips of such beer from my daddy. The Polish tradition of mulled beer is an old tradition originating from the Middle Ages (then strong root beer was drunk) and from the Polish climate (earlier, even when I was a teenager, from very cold winters). In the past, the temperature in Polish winters oscillated on average around -6 or -8 °C and often below -10 °C (sometimes there were such frosts that trees cracked from the frost, the crack was as loud as a cannon shot, I heard it twice in my childhood), so Poles had to warm up with something. I think that mulled beer is an exclusive Polish tradition because I have not heard of anyone else drinking warm beer with additives, or even with honey (which not only has a warming effect on the body, but the flavonoids (bioactive molecules) contained in natural honey have a strong antioxidant effect, thanks to which prevent damage to immune cells. has a beneficial effect on the production of lymphocytes, i.e. the most important cells in our immune system, i.e. in building natural immunity and preventing and treating infections. Hence, in Poland, mulled beer.Very nice film.Greetings to you

Yes, I have been watching various European Christmas markets, and they all seem beautiful-unlike the US ones! But my Polish side is going, "Where are the Pierogies!" Lol. The only time of year I get to enjoy homemade pierogies from my Dad's family is Christmas Eve, along with our cabbage soup.
@HungryTwoTravel3 күн бұрын
We have to agree, the Christmas markets in Europe are seriously the best in the world! As for pierogi, unfortunately the price of them is pretty crazy at the Christmas market, so instead we got them in our next video at a more local place ;) check it out kzbin.info/www/bejne/iofRnJ9_ZcuBp6csi=3AvekNqsNVwp5mf4
@jaklg79053 күн бұрын
Pierogi is already plural. There is no word "pierogies".
@shuttze16 күн бұрын
This cheese you got is not the real thing. They make it so it looks like the traditional oscypek but the real one is made out of sheeps milk or a mix of sheep and cow. If You want to try the real one its avaiable only from may to september due to sheep grazing in these months. Thats why they don't call it oscypek I guess. Cheers and merry christmas.
@HungryTwoTravel16 күн бұрын
Yes you're right, we're aware of the difference but thanks for the info 😉 this cheese they don't advertise as the oscypek, just as goralski. Thanks a lot for watching and commenting!
