What an amazing list of food! I've been to KL before, just for a few days, but when I was there I ate a few of the dishes you featured. I ate BBQ pork, the kway teow noodles, and fried chicken. My favorite from the video has to be that claypot chicken rice and the Hokkien mee. Those both look so good and I'll have to find them the next time I'm in KL! Such a variety of food in KL, I'll also have to try some of the Indian food in the city, it looks interesting. Great video, would love to see you make more of these as they're perfect references for when I travel again!

After travelling to so many countries, there is no where that can beat Malaysian food. Malaysian food has worldwide influences from Indian, Malay, Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Middle Eastern and Western. Many fine dining restaurants (French, Japanese, Indian, Chinese) to explore too.

Malay abdooos are also immigrants from Jawa and Sumatra, Indonesia. It is time for the malay abdooo to stop claiming the glory and hardwork of the non Muslims Chinese, Non Muslims Indians, Christians Portuguese, Buddhist Siam, Eurasian and Christians natives of Malaysia citizenship.

@HungryTwoTravel The longan drink is actually a combination of longan and monk fruit (lohan guo). The monk fruit after boiling causes the drink to look black in color and sweet. The monk fruit can be purchase from Chinese herbal shop. The popiah originated from Fujian, China. The popiah skin is a soft thin paper-like crepe (popiah means thin crepe in Fujian dialect) made from wheat flour.

You missed some of the iconic Malaysian street food like nasi lemak ( Malaysia’s official dish ), nasi kandar, asam laksa ( voted as the top Malaysian dish by an international body ), fish head curry, mertabak, mee mamak, chendol, appam, idli, nasi goreng, etc. etc. So both of you have missed tasting many of Malaysia’s favourite street foods. Time for you to return to Malaysia and try these as well.

i lived in Asia for 5 years. one of the first advise i got from my local colleges was: never eat any of the street foods. the ingredients are not checked for food safety, they often cook with sewage oil and unless you are used to the dishes and how they are being prepared you risk to get stomach problems.
@HungryTwoTravel6 ай бұрын
The street foods are what we love the most! We've never had any stomach issues eating them, especially in Asia. For us, that's where you find the best food😉

Malaysia is number 1 palm oil exporter.. there is more cheaper buy palm oil than buy sewage oil .. such a funny comment..🤣🤣 Do not compare malaysian street food than other asian country. Selling street food in malaysia is strict, as muslim country we have halal certificate and cleanliness is main point.. Come see with your own eyes and taste with your own tounge.. we malaysian have pride in our food and the only bad thing happen in tourist is make them FAT..!
