And….most Malaysians can also speak English. This advantage makes it easier for Malaysians to communicate with tourists so this also makes tourists like to come to Malaysia. @@WhereisBrad come to Terengganu or Kuantan Pahang for Malay heritage, food n culture, n beautiful clean beaches. I m not much of a street food fan, i like to eat n sit at nice clean restaurants n cafes , seriously. Hahaha. But i m not a snob though, :) . Malaysian street food vendors comply to stringent food handling requirements for their licenses, so, there s almost no worry there but there r illegal immigrants who set up foodstalls n since the locals r so diverse we cant tell them apart until they speak or when they dont speak english at all because english is our second language. So their food handling is seriously questionable. Checkout videos of Ken abroad or Jetlag warriors, they covered our terengganu islands n beaches. Dont just go to the west coast of peninsular, explore the east coast as well n also to Sabah n Sarawak for the indigenous cultures n experience. An iban warrior costume n war dance is really awesome. Dont leave Malaysia with just the typical batu cave temple, klcc n national mosque covered by a million others. Jln alor n penang n ipoh they r all chinese places so u r missing out the original majority Malay culture of Malaysia. N i m glad u r not one of those tourists constantly looking for night life, bars, alcohol n cheap girls. For those things Thailand is a better option. Visit our beautiful mosques, Putrajaya n pls learn a bit about Islam n muslims since a well travelled American has no excuse to be Islamiphobic. Have fun in malaysia. I used to study in the us for 5 yrs n the climate was great, my professors were inspiring but sadly, the rest of the americans were ignorant, ethnocentric n intolerant. May Allah swt guide u in ur travels n in ur life too.

So happy you can showcase this unknown place to other tourists. We use to go there to find cheap goods and where everyone have a ready smile for you. Hope u discover more gems and showcase to others. It's like going in treasure hunt. Kuala Lumpur can be a really interesting place to go hunting. Enjoy... We want you to discover it yourself. Every day have a different place you can explore. The thing that draws me most to different countries is for sure it’s people! I’ve had only positive, friendly, and fun interactions so far! You need to try our local burger next called Ramly Burger..its easily available on the streets. Hint: look for 7 Eleven, theres usually a Ramly Burger stall in front of one

@@WhereisBrad when you ordered your Ramly Burger, you can always customise it. Not fancy with messy sauce? Ask less sauce.
@WhereisBrad11 ай бұрын
Got it!!! But how do the locals do it? I’m the opposite of picky, so I want to taste how it’s meant to taste 😁
@fahiruzrazali11 ай бұрын
@@WhereisBrad just order as it is, no need to customise..Ramly Burgers are known to be very saucy and messy...but we do get add-ons to our orders. Basic burgers: Chicken Burger Beef Burger Then add on: - cheese - egg (Codename: special) - double patty - mixed patty (Codename: kawin) * kahwin means married so you got beef and chicken married to each other hahahah How you order? Examples: - Chicken Burger = basic chicken burger - Beef Burger Special = Beef Burger with egg wrap - Chicken Burger Special Cheese = Chicken Burger with cheese wrapped in egg - Double Beef Burger Special = Double Beef Patty wrapped in egg - Kawin Special Cheese = mixed Beef and Chicken with cheese wrapped in egg For starter, you can try Beef Special Burger first 😂 Remember, if it ain't messy, it ain't Ramly LOL (remember not to wear white shirts when trying Ramly) For price indication, a basic burger should cost around RM5 ($1.20), so your add-ons will be around RM2-3 each. Beef/Chicken Burger around rm5 Beef/Chicken with Egg wrapped around rm7 and so on.. Each stalls has got their own signature style, so you gotta try few until you find your favourite stall 😂
