Hunt for the Ring Playthrough (Part 1 & 2)

Reminder to people to vote in the community poll on War of the Ring vs Star Wars: Rebellion. Glad you guys played this, I've been interested for a long time but this is the first time I've seen it actually being played. It's kind of crazy that there aren't more LOTR games focused around Weathertop, there are so many factions on both sides in the area. Team Nazgul had a stronger first half than they had in Jaws. It's really interesting that they had lots of touches from War of the Ring, I wonder if someone learned this before they learned War of the Ring if it'd make it slightly easier because a few mechanisms do get transferred.

Please give us another war of the ring playthrough Rob and Mel!! that game has a special place in my heart! i have a say about that game! i know it is difficult to come to the table BUT if anyone has it DO NOT SELL IT! even it comes on your table once a year ,it totally worths it! i feel whole after every session! so please consider making another playthrough! hope you the best!!

I sold it because I only got it to the table once in two years AND didn’t even particularly enjoy that session. This game has a lot of nuances, to appreciate them and really feel the tension and understand the levers you need to play this more regularly. That will never happen. Nothing worse than having to refresh your rules memory only to not play it again soon but instead learn it again a year later. Nope
