Hunt: Showdown was initially supposed to be a third person shooter PVE only, but then crytek rejected the idea. The rejected idea went on to become Remnant: From the Ashes (and it's sequel), and you'll see a lot of similarities between that game and Hunt, although Remnant leans more into cosmic horror and sci-fi and plays like a soulslike. It's also PVE.

I can't express how happy I am for this. I loved the game when it launched and played it a lot. Nit after the graphical downgrade, I was unable to play anymore as it made me feel motion sickness. Now I'm back in the bayou, and oh my, so happy. There is no other game like Hunt. Just the UI, which is now addressed, and I would love the ability to pick a playlist of themes to play in the menu. Love them all, but the original humming one hits differently when it greats me in the lobby.

Honestly wasn't expecting a trailer for their rebranding or whatever you call this of Hunt Showdown. Well it's sad to see they're ending support for last gen I really wish they mentioned when the servers was going down. Well hopefully with this update they'll fix meta like melee, certain weapons and builds and make it more skillful especially with bulletdrop.

Launched a game -> was shocked by how bad and uncomfortable new interface is when buying stuff -> loadouts for some reson don`t auto equip consumables -> got in a match -> opened a map when someone banished a boss -> game freezed and never unfreezed -> restarted the game -> got stuck on a blackscreen with hud when reconected for literal 8 minutes -> alt+f4 Solid 2/10 update 2 for a new map

Wish you'd have replaced the anti-cheat, as we are seeing an increased number of cheaters already (not surprising on free play weekends and when its the hot game out). Great job on the servers for launch! 56k+ people playing at once on Steam and didn't see any real issues!! New map looks & plays great!! Areas of opportunity: UI (you've addressed that in the video on 16 Aug on Twitter) Improved communications (quicker info out would help) In-game optimization of the new map, as there are a handful of areas that really crush the FPS of all players. Seen folks w/ lower graphics cards drop down to 30fps in spots and even folks w/ 4090s drop to double digits (going from 180s-200s down to 90s).

Insane job on the new map! I love the way it plays out! Graphics are insanely good even on lower settings and the layouts with all those pathways and flankingroutes are just so much fun! I am not a fan of some of the other changes with traps becoming more of a thing and the UI is certainly not what everyone was craving for, but the map for me is the core of this Update and i just love it so far!

What lobotomised intern did you put on the UI design? It takes THREE clicks to exit the game. The "home" tab is blatantly just the store tab. (EDIT: This seems to have been changed, not fixed mind you because it wasn't a mistake to begin with) There's no rime or reason to what key does what between menus. Why is the list of hunters horizontal and each slide takes up 1/6 of the screen? Why can't I see MY OWN loadout in the lobby? Why do I have to click a bunch of buttons to reach the loadouts? Why do I have to press a key AND HOVER over a weapon/item to unequip it? Why do I have to choose duos ever time I restart the game? Why can't I scroll in the view I'm currently in? So many of these mistakes are so god damned rookie it's really a wonder. Who greenlit this asinine tripe?

Great update, but PLEASE give PC players an option to switch back to Legacy menu and text. This console UI is Terrible and your Steam Reviews are a good reminder of that. Ways to fix the negative reviews: Give PC players a proper UI, which includes a better Main Menu, readable text (the new one is terrible and for me specifically being half blind I can barely read it), the pop-up text for pick-ups should be moved back to the lower part of the screen not to the literally middle where you are looking, wth, who came up with that? I believe that the new Menu is console friendly, but it's an absolute disaster for PC. Please give us back the old one, with some tweaking to it according to what is removed/added.

The UI does need fixing, but the review bombing is ridiculous. The point of a steam review is to review the game in its entirety, not post multiple hundreds of reviews screaming "UI BAD" with no constructive feedback on what people dislike. Feel free to comment on youtube, or use the discord feedback channel, or email them the feedback, but review bombing on steam will take the devs months to recover from over a bad UI design. Why punish the entire game for the misstep of a bad UI design? The devs of Hunt are one of the better dev teams in gaming over the last 7+ years. So many AAA devs treat their community like a cash cow and don't care about them, this dev team have made mistakes but overall have hit more than they have miss, the first really big miss they have and PC gamers are trying to bury them alive for it. Madness.

everything is good literally from down to top , bp also improve somehow but the UI man who ever makes the UI fire that guy man UI is horrible too much thing goin on in that
