Okay. Wow. The first audio was good, and set a really tense, anxiety-inducing atmosphere (coupled with a really awesome voice effect suite)... This one is even better. It takes everything from the first audio and builds on it, sets up the framework for even more plot development, and still leaves one wondering just where the next installment will pick up (or if we'll even survive that far!) Very nicely done.

For the longest time, I was under the assumption (for whatever reason) that the person we were speaking to was a Female Yautja. But then the speaker say OUR species so. Idk.

To be fair, it's hard to hold the plot when someone is both threatening you and trying to put you to sleep lol

I thought the person we were speaking to is human. She gave up trying to talk to other species because by the time she learned the language enough for basic communication, they were all dead. Yeah, just after 21:30 she confirms it by saying, basically, "I don't know how they pick us (the killers) out (from the rest of our species). But they're not just gunning for humans."

Best I can figure by listening, this one and the previous Predator audio are based off the movie "Predators" and set on the same safari planet (or a similar one)...

Dragon is correct! "Predators" is one of my favorite settings from the franchise so I've just made my own story with the plot :)

@@AlternateAurora This reminds me of the Dark Horse Comics miniseries from years and years ago...a lone human survivor of an Alien outbreak saves a wounded Predator, and lots of xenomorph-fighting hijinks ensue. In some of the novelizations based off this, the human even ends up as part of a Predator crew on one of their ships, and goes hunting Aliens with them...
