That was indeed a great video! Thank you. I have a very high window which a new HD rechargeable battery will go into. It is probably 18 ft or higher, in a loft apartment. Could it be possible to add a small solar charger that would keep the battery charged? Other companies are doing this. I look forward to your reply.

The simple answer unfortunately is no, as of August 2022. Personally, I find that HD wants to make sure that they test new concepts for quite a while and find them to be basically perfect before releasing them. Will they come out with a solar charging addition to their Li-ion batteries? I am questioning this. There are a few reasons why solar chargers are not quite what people expect. The technical aspects will be addressed in a video shortly on this topic. Thanks for giving me something to target. If you have a very high window, there are a couple of other options as to how to keep them charged. I’ve watched a number of your videos now and must say I’m impressed ! They’ve been incredibly helpful !! It’s unfortunate you aren’t in Canada ! What would you recommend for a 16 ft rectangular window located above a stairwell . We were considering getting powerview with a rechargeable option . However we have to find a way to mount the battery lower than the window so we can reach it to charge it . Do all the powerview blinds give the option to set the blind for top up bottom down etc ? Currently we have lite rise Aplause duette honeycomb shades .
