Hey, something they explained earlier in the series was how eating rare humans (humans with nen) makes the ants stronger. If you bring in the entire hunter association, many are going to be too weak and only feed the power of the ants. So that's why they can't just bring in everyone, only a select strong few would be more effective than a lot of people who on average are too weak to survive. Hope you guys enjoy the rest of the show, we're getting closer and closer to the juicy parts of this arc.
