I know a lot of people are happy to see the queen die because they think she's evil, but she's far from that. One of the most natural creatures in the show, never did things out of malice. It's interesting how people see her actions as evil but humans do worse and its considered normal.

"He sees the stupidity and atrocities humans commit and knowing he is the strongest thing that ever existed, decides to change it." If you like that, you should have liked the character of Kira from Death Note because he thinks that he could be a god and that he is the only one who could decide who is worth living.

HxH v/s FMAB writing is a very oftenly asked question in fandom, but the comparison is just plain wrong. Whole FMAB is a tight-knit story from beginning to end. A better comparison would be comparing yorknew arc with FMAB as both have similar elements of thrill and fast chopped action. HxH is far more about detours and world-building and expansion, sometimes for no reason at all (Greed Island). HxH does a much better job in creating large worlds and new powers and unique power scaling, while FMAB dodges power scaling entirely by giving finite power to every character.

@@claw7609 No it's not the actual reason. Premature babies eventually grow up to reach a normal size because the architecture of your body is determined by your genes. I mean don't get me wrong, environment matter too and being premature can actually cause a small (below 1 inch) difference in height but it's not a massive factor. You'll still grow like a normal person, just a few weeks late.

This is fascinating to me. Are people in general egotistical for saying about the King, "you just killed a person for no reason"? And yet we kill animals all the time for sustenance. Animals even kill each other. But an animal will never say to a predator, "Why must you kill us for no reason?" Its not even a question it's just the natural order of things. So where does this idea that we don't deserve to be eaten come from? Probably from some feeling of superiority: We make and create technology, have business and industry, and have the capacity to learn. We are "better than animals". And that's why this is interesting. Cause no matter how you look at it, Chimera ants ARE superior to humans. All things it takes us years to learn, like speaking, running, Nen? They have it almost immediately. On top of the learning capacity of humans, they have the instincts and intuition of animals, already knowing how to hunt, hide their presence, protect their territory. So of course they can kill us for food without thinking twice about it right?

These aren't spoilers: The Ants haven't done anything wrong. They are infants and are operating on the most animalistic levels while they're going through a process of learning. Colt and the others were just doing what they knew. Like how a lion hunts in the wild or when a human hunts an Elk and eats it's meat as a incredible delicacy . The Ant King however did something unspeakable, he ate one of their own and killed beings of their own kind. Mix that together with the criminals the queen has been eating. That also explains why a lot of the Ants are pretty extreme and the King (the culmination of the best of the best) has it even more extreme.

Oh boy, he here. Now it's time for things to get real. Abi is right about Killua's situation. Killua believes that he's too weak because of his cowardice, and rather than having Gon rely on someone as unreliable as him, he'd rather leave Gon so that he doesn't risk dying from Killua running away from a situation. Since the two of you are ahead, I'll maybe start saying this now, and I'll say it as spoiler-free as possible. There is going to be an even-numbered episode much later on where you're going to need to watch the next episode, and I'd recommend it being the only triple-drop in the show. It's towards the end of the arc, so you're not near it yet, but I don't want to be too specific about it in case that's considered spoilers. I could get a little more specific, but again, I will not spoil anything that actually happens because it's important to go into that episode blind; I'd give the episode number, or say "it's an episode that ends with (people) in (a location)" (as specific as that sounds, you wouldn't be able to glean anything from it). It's not just because I want to see a triple-drop or anything; I feel like that episode is such a good stopping point for watching parts of the show like you guys are doing, and it's an extremely strong episode, so the episode immediately after isn't nearly as hype afterwards. Though I do look forward to it; the end parts of this arc are so amazingly good, I can't wait for you guys to get to it.
