The contrast in the way the faces are drawn is interesting. On one hand we have a smiling Morena with sweetly shining eyes. This is possibly the mask that Morena used with her abusers. But from time to time the drawing of her eyes becomes somber, when she tells Borksen that if it's not her, it could be any other specialist. Showing her total disinterest in Borksen safety.

Another thing about the number 23, this Morena is 23 years old confirmed. She was born in the Kakin year ‘98, and currently it’s year ‘21, since last year’s was year ‘20.

@@RodiacreedMorena literally on page 6 says last year was ‘20. She was of ‘98, last is year is ‘20. 2020-1998= 22. Add 1 year to current timeline = 23 years old.

I'm surprised looking back how well specialist abilities match to personalities, Kurapika wants to kill the Troupe by himself so his ability lets him use any Nen type, Morena was used sexually so her ability spreads her destructive will to anyone she kisses, it surprises me how Tserri's ability must be related to his personality in some way... So I think Borksen's views about a comfy life are gonna form her ability because all of them have felt innate, I doubt Morena can shape another specialists hatsu to her uses. (Also Chrollo started martial law I bet)

This is definitely the case for specialist users, but I'd argue almost every ability suits its user in some way. Leorio's ability ties in with his interests in medicine, Machi's ability is tied to her interest in enbalming after Sarasa's death, etc...

As much I as hope for a redemption arc for Morena, I just don't think she can come back from the despair that she has endured.

Nice video. Man, morenas backstory was fucked up. I also wonder how exactly she replaced the previous Morena, like people would be able to tell she wasnt the real one? No idea, maybe she straight up killed all the heilly hire ups before getting to the boat. But it probably isn't important.
