@@zegion999 Nope a few corrections. The actual translation in the manga is close to, "He had friendly fights with my grandfather." Not that he barely survived his grandpa which the anime said. Also he started giving thousand punches of gratitude not for training but as a form of prayer, because he had reached his limit in body and soul. The penance up the mountains made him break past those limiters.

Before he did the thousand punch aka gratitude & prayer, wasn't he was training first? That's when he relize that his body and soul reach the limit, right?

This is hands down my favorite episode of HxH! The shot of Pitou falling in the sky as the palace gets decimated has stuck with me the most ever since I first saw it back in 2014 when this episode first came out! Such a beautiful and masterfully done episode, love everything about it 🥲

I really love Zeno's seiyuu saying ''Dragon Dive". What an amazing voice acting! After ep 111 the hype is unstoppable! By the way, our boys gang didn't know about Netero's plan. Knov and Morel in the early episodes heard Netero say that he would be asking to an old friend for help.

I don't remember when exactly in the series it is mentioned or inted, but nen can delay aging. The stronger the nen the stronger the application or condition. The fun starts now, I do advise you guys to really pay attention to the narration from now on, it will explain a lot of what's happening and why it's happening. Everything you've learned or saw up until now in the series are going to be applied on the following fights. Have fun watching!!

If you read the manga or saw the 99 version you already know about Zeno's grandfather, Maha Zoldyck, he still alive and helps Ilumi to kill the 10 dons in the York new arc. for some reason, in the 2011 version they decided to remove all mention and his appearance in the series until this moment

They showed his silhouette. I geuss they didn't include him the that one scene cause they knew it would be a long time before the manga comes back again. So they just decided to not introduce a charachter that we will never see again anyway (in the anime)

Netero was never worried. He only asked "how would I do against the king" kult replied "you wouldn't even be able to touch the guards" netero laughed and said he was excited Many people are confused about this but kult only power scaled based on nen capacity. He's still a noobie. He doesn't know that nen battles are more then just pure power. Netero is still the better fighter even tho they have much more nen

Even so, I wouldn't bet Netero defeating any of the royal guards in a real battle, even after all the preparation before his fight with Meruem, not even his ultimate move was able to hurt him and all that considering Meruem wasn't trying to kill him.

No, Netero said he doubted he could even beat Pitou. But remember this was when Netero was rusty. He spent a lot of time getting back into shape and working on his Nen after that.

Correction for some people in the comments misunderstanding. Netero is BELIEVED to be 120, not that he is really 120, its just that this is the minimum age that was mentioned calculating all of the years given to us. However, he could be well over that age. Somewhere around 120 - 300. Saying he is 120 is speculation, we are never given an actual number.
