its a missed lethal from our perspective, there are two secrets viper was worried about, explosive trap and misdirection. He could play around either one but not both. I could be wrong about this, but my guess is that viper really thought it was misdirection. Viper respected the fact that Hunterace saw the counterplay to explosive trap (the play you wrote out) and decided that hunterace wouldnt bluff in that position. So viper maximized his odds against misdirection and got punished for making the better play imo. I really felt for Viper in this position, that was a huge gamble

He thought it was missdirection - that's why he played minions before checking secerets. The winning line is losing line, if random secret is diffrent.
@chengchenghe20695 жыл бұрын
@@Innersoulwithinme Still, the opponite only have two outs, missdirection and explosioin trap. As a pro, he should consider both equaly rather than just missdirection. His play totally forget to consider explosion, since he totally lost board after that play. Even it is missdirection, it is better to attack in the 1/1 stealth into 4/3, because you have another 1/1 stealth in your hand for the back up.
@Innersoulwithinme5 жыл бұрын
@@chengchenghe2069 Thing is hunterace bluffed really well - trade 4/3 into Viper 3/3 is technically unnesesary - if Viper would missplay, you can trade 4/3 into DS 1/1, backstab 3/3 into 3/1, and if Viper make mistake, you have extra 4/2 to finsh game. Problem is, that line kinda shouts "it's explosive!", and chances that Viper make mistake are slim. Technically boardstate is same, but better, cause you have extra stats in play, and line for your opponent to win, is exactly the same. But if you make that horrible on value trade, you say "I have to do that, in order to survive, 3 minions killed me everytime" and that suggest missdirection, and was great bluff. And I can forgive Viper that he was baited out. I cannot thik, how stresfull thak kind of match is.

Except Misdirection. Still the right play, but not guaranteed lethal.

Only fluent in Chinese and English. She only spoke a Japanese a little, so probably only learned a little Japanese on the side. Not too difficult given how similar Napanese is to Chinese.

Can someone explain why in game one on the last last turn Viper couldnt just play magic carpet then abusive sergent, and then the abusive sergent would get +1/+1 and rush and attack for the win?

What an insane final match! Glad hunterace pulled it out in the end

which traps wouldve been detrimental at 14:42 to just sacrificing the witchwood imp on board into the hench clan burglar, buffing the argent squre for 2 health and finishing hunterace off? how is it not lethal, and how didn't viper see this?
@BerniPro5 жыл бұрын
@@jakecarlson3709 but wouldn't it have been much better to hold onto the 2nd witchwood imp before testing for the trap in case of misdirection? also you cant just calculate the best outcome for one trap, but the best chances to win the game for the multitude of traps, unless you are committed

rossco54 it was so hard to raven try and formulate any turns. I counted maybe two good turns predicted by raven this whole series.
