How about doing an ammonia conversion on a gas or diesel truck? Reading about it , it's like a propane conversion. Ammonia is used in jet and rocket fuel. And land speed record was achieved in a straight ammonia rocket car. Ammonia is cheap and more stable , safer as a green fuel than hydrogen, and viable unlike electric cars.

Doesn’t take much crack a head or blow a head gasket, especially on a 6.9…7.3’s are a little better but they have the cylinder wall issues.
@Tyler-vt8dr3 жыл бұрын
What cylinder wall issues? I have one at the shop right now that we think has bad heads bc the cooling system keeps over pressurizing
@J.R.in_WV3 жыл бұрын
@@Tyler-vt8dr the issue they have is with cavitation caused by coolant bubbles eating away at the cylinder walls. When they bored out the 6.9 into the 7.3 the bore spacing stayed the same and the cylinder walls ended up being thinner than they should have been. This allows the cylinder walls to flex more than usual causing aeration of the coolant and when these air bubbles “pop” it cause microscopic wear to the cylinder wall that over time becomes bad enough that actual pinholes start to form allowing coolant in to the cylinder. If the coolant is changed at the recommended intervals and anti cavitation additives are used it’s not near as much of an issue but on higher mileage engines that weren’t maintained well it can be a problem. Usually if this is the issue the engine will be hard to crank or lock up entirely when trying to start it in the morning though so if your only issue is over pressurizing it is very likely just a blown head gasket. The 6.9’s were prone to cracking heads as well but the 7.3 had an improved head casting that was far less prone to issues.
@Tyler-vt8dr3 жыл бұрын
@@J.R.in_WV thanks for taking the time to explain all that, I’m surprised with how thick those graphite head gaskets are that they can even blow through them at all.
