It has a large proxy fuse so if you launch both at the same time, they’ll proxy on each other and blow you up with them.

It is the secret weapon of Ruhollah Khomeini 😂 There are multiple theories about its guidance method, some say it is guided by F-14 radar to a selected point on the ground, some say it is a radio guided like Bullpup and some say it is just an unguided rocket; the way it is implemented in War Thunder.

@@ICECAPPEDSKY I'm totally fine with keeping it an unguided rocket but I wish it explodes on impact, it was mainly designed to strike static large targets like factories and powerplants so it doesn't make sense to have a proximity fuse that makes it explode 30 meters away from the targeted factory! It loses the purpose of manufacturing it.

I was going to do a full review stream of the aircraft in GRB but then I saw the bug fix for the rocket and decided to wait. It was leaked by Gszabi99 probably the most reliable leak source. # 2.37.0.161 -> 2.37.0.162 - Yasser: proximity fuse removed Current Dev version : 2.37.5.12 Current Dev-Stable version : 2.37.0.162 Current Live version : 2.37.0.160

Seems like it's better at CAS than the regular F-14A but potentially worse at air to air, depending on if you prefer the P or the H AIM-9s. Fakours seem pretty good though.

I don't like the fuse at all, it should be removed. This rocket is designed to strike factories and large targets, proxy fuse doesn't make sense.

As you said it is just a game, also Iraqi MiGs shot a lot of Iranian planes, I recently knew that Mohammed Rayyan alone scored 10 air kills in the 8 years conflict, 4 kills with MiG-21 and another 6 kills with his MiG-25 Foxbat, all 10 kills are confirmed by the Iranian side, I really can't wait for the Foxbat to be added to the game. Rayan basically is the best MiG-25 pilot in the world so I believe he deserves to be honored in an event in War Thunder, the way they did with Jalil Zandi.

Personally I would keep it for Yasser to CAS and hoping one day Gaijin make this rocket explode on impact, because it was designed to strike factories and powerplants so it should have the possibilty to explode on impact.
