I’m hoping this could mean new Darkness Supers in the future. Bungie’s seemed to have hinted at a final/third Darkness subclass as well. Which would mean even more versatility for Prismatic and Darkness Guardians.😎 Imgaine a Stasis Hunter summoning a chain or katana made from stasis. A Warlock, summoning sharp, heavy glaciers to impale and crush large enemies and hordes. Or a stasis scythe. Or a Stasis Titan, summoning a ball and chain, or javelin, to pummel/stab enemies into icy submission.

I put this build on for the 1st time and got over 1000 kills in onslaught and made nearly 400 orbs without even trying or playing the build properly. I dunno if the new normal mode onslaught is too easy but it felt like it with this build. I was using the stasis trace rifle instead of the grenade launcher as trace rifle had the 25% buff

@@tywilliams6598the withering blade doesn’t activate on hitting frozen enemies. So it’ll shatter but doesn’t cause the withering blade split. It also needs to be shot more consistent with detecting shatter kills as being from the melee instead of just shatter damage

Minor correction on the void overshield notes starting at 4:15, as there is much confusion regarding this topic ALL overshields with the "void overshield" buff text, have 45 HP at maximum. This has NOT CHANGED since the recent buffs. What changed is this: Having void overshield USED TO apply a 50% damage resistance to damage received (only to the 45 overshield HP). This meant that overshield in PVE by itself added an effective 90 health to your character, 45 / (1-.05) This damage resistance was increased to 70% in the new patch. So doing the math again, 45HP/(1-0.7) = 150 effective HP. This is where bungies numbers of 90 and 150 *effective hp* came from. They are NOT saying that void overshield had 90 and now 150 *total hp* This is an important distinction for the following reasons: 1.) Void overshield damage resistance only applies for PVE combatants, so a full void overshield in PVP remains just +45 hp. 2.) Void overshield HP (as of my testing on 10/15/24 IS IMPACTED BY OTHER SOURCES OF DAMAGE RESISTANCE, including but not limited to resilience, frost armor, and woven mail. The calculation for ehp of void overshield with 100 resilience and frost armor x5 (in that order in the denominator) looks like: 45HP / [ (1-0.7) * (1-0.3) * (1-0.225) ] = 276.5 effective overshield HP

I've personally use facet of command instead of facet of dominance. The exotics auto freezes multiple enemies and the shatter creates a stasis shard per enemy killed, and auto reloads. I really only like this because it does make some melee energy, but the stasis shards give frost armor to teammates running the right stasis builds. I've been experimenting with rimestealer weapons, but I find it a little difficult to choose between shooting a crystal or throwing a shuriken for the extra shuriken damage. I ended up just relying on orb pickups and overshield for healing instead of frost armor

I did the same, also switched Facet of Ruin for Facet of Blessing for a true on demand survivability boost. Try using Fair judgment for frost armor from frozen kills from rimestealer, health from vanguards vindication , and overshield from orb generation due to Facet of Purpose.. Then buried bloodlines for weaken / devour

Just got back to Destiny after a long break. I'm back to enjoying the game! The new Hunter's helmet exotic has got to be the most fun exotic to use. Frankly, I've only been on stasis subclass because I haven't unlocked prismatic yet. But thanks to stasis shards and the fragment that increases melee energy from stasis shards, I've been spamming a ton of shurikens. Looking forward to what I can build craft with this exotic once I get myself Prismatic unlocked!

Heck yeah! This is the exact same build I've been running since this episode. It works so well, and is so much fun. I also really like the full stasis build since the new Coldsnap grenades are insane on hunter and with this build. For harder champion content, I've been using Timewarn Warfairer with heal clip/incan for healing and anti Barrier scout when on stasis

There’s some great stasis exotic weapons, and really good stasis legendary weapons to pair with this, especially if you’ve crafted the “Headstone”/“Rimestealer” combo. But, Mask of Fealty, paired with Verglas Curve? Is the ultimate ice ninja fantasy.

Love your builds so always happy when I make a similar one before. I made my prismatic Hunter similar but a little different: As you have the slow dodge on (which gives increased class regen when slowing) you can replace facet of hope with facet of command and you’ll get stasis shards off frozen kills which with last column artefact will give both melee & class energy as well as reloading your weapons constantly

The unfortunate thing with the breaking frozen targets being bugged is that if a frozen target and a crystal are remotrly in lien of sight, even if you're clearly aiming at a crystal, the shuriken tracls toward the frozen target. You can work around it by positioning youself so that the tracking doesnt sway the shuriken away from the crystal, so it still works very effectively. But I hope Bungie fixes that soon.

Silence and Squall or Goldie. Here's a neat trick for Nighthawk Goldie. Grab weapons for each slot from your collections and equip them. Create two completely identical loadouts, both with the collection weapons equipped and Golden Gun as the Super, the only difference being one with Nighthawk, one without it. Armour pieces, mods, and stats can differ. Then save both loadouts with those weapons equipped and delete the collection weapons once you're done. You can now switch between exotic armour pieces with the click of a button. Because the weapons that were saved in the loadout no longer exist, it'll change your armour but keep your currently equipped weapons. This is a trick I've been using for a while. I'll use an add clear build with one exotic armour piece, switch to Nighthawk just before boss DPS starts, and switch back when DPS is over.

Just curious if a double grenade launcher build would be potentially feasible because I noticed him using the hand cannon with incandescent makes sense. I don’t have that role, but I do have martyrs retribution with incandescent. Since they’re both special grenade, launchers wasn’t sure if the ammo distribution would not be malleable.

If you reach level 17 with Rahool, you gain a new tab (next to the one where you can craft exotics with ascendant shards), in this new one you can craft exotics you don't own with an Exotic Cipher
