Hunters Rumours QUICK Guide (Varlamore Hunter update)

Hunters Rumours is a brand new way of training Hunter that arrived with the 'Varlamore' area expansion. You can obtain rumours from the hunter masters inside the Hunters Guild.
These rumours are similar to slayer tasks, but instead of a set number of kills, you stay at the spot until you found a 'rare creature'. This should take around 8-10 minutes (numbers provided by jagex) but some tasks will be much shorter and some much longer.

AYYYYY back at it again and now with a Varlemore guide, lesgo! I'm excited to try these contracts out since I've only leveled hunter through birdhouses, which means I barely know how to do "skilling" for hunter 😂 Great vid as always!!!

P.s. You can skip tasks by asking a DIFFERENT master for a new rumour. Please let me know your exp rates and which tier contract you're doing! Also, what are your thoughts on Rumours? I'm personally a fan as it's more enjoyable than conventional training (IMO), but the exp rates could be better...

I am getting around 150k/hr doing the master rumors and skipping foxes. It's pretty high effort compared to just doing mindless herbiboar for similar exp rates, but it is more fun. I kinda wish there was more variety in creatures to hunt and more uses for the stuff they drop. Like, pretty much all the furs are forever useless after crafting one or two things

Do the rumours have to be completed on the varlamore area or are they world-wide

You can complete them anywhere! Some new creatures (e.g. pyre fox) are only in Varlamore though.

They can be hunted anywhere! With the exception of the new creatures (e.g. pyre fox) that are only found in Varlamore

Man, I've been there... Sometimes you can get really unlucky and go dry for a long time... The average is supposed to be 8-10 minutes. Hope your luck increases!

guide didnt include any info on what you will be hunting for rumours, what items needed to hunt those creatures or where to find them. bad guide.

There's numerous guides that already show you location of monsters, how to get to them and what you need to hunt them. And there's the osrs wiki. Stop being lazy

Thanks for your feedback. I'm sorry but this is a guide specifically for 'hunters rumours'. If you haven't trained hunter before I recommend you check out any in-depth hunter guide or the wiki. Hunting creatures hasn't changed, it's the same it has always been.
