Solo COX Vs TOA? Which Should You Do?

It really just all depends on what raid you enjoy more and are better at. Maxeff toa's (38min 540's assumed here) are about 20m/hr Maxeff solo cox (17min 32k) is about 13.5m/hr Cox has more potential to increase gp/hr above those rates by dps alts or scaling. (huge scales with dps alts can surpass 30m/hr ) But the most important thing about any raids grinding is enjoying yourself and not getting burned out. So don't overthink it and do whatever you find yourself enjoying the most.

Great video! I think I totally agree. While cox has potential for some big money items, purples feel so uncommon there, while at Toa, I pull a purple light pretty often in comparison. I think something you could have gone over more is specifically the rate for the Tbow and Shadow at each raid. Normal Cox Tbow rate is around 1 in 1kish raids, but 300 invo Toa Shadow rate is only around 1 in 480ish raids. So, the fact that toa makes less money on average is made up for by that feeling of playing the lottery and possibly walking away with 1B+

8 man 300s are just good fun. for me, insanity gets a lil too sweaty for the raid to be enjoyable, but 400s here n there are fine just not to farm out

Sorry, I may have misspoke in the video, but adding path invos *does* increase purple odds. At least according to the osrs Tombs of Amascut Loot calculator. If we plug in a raid level 300, 1 team size, no path invocations, while walk the path is active, we get a 4.2476% chance of getting a purple drop. If we keep everything the same, but turn on pathseeker under the path invocations, the purple chance is now 4.3291%. 4.3993% with pathfinder turned on, and 4.4709% with pathmaster on. Hopefully that helps!

As an Iron with 500 kc in all, TOB is the most fun, Solo Cox has the best pacing, and TOA is a miserable and tedious raid. P1 wardens is terible design (its literally a skilless stat check) and P3 wardens take 2x as long as it should (compare it to P2 verzik). Im just resigning myself to grinding out a Tbow (mush longer grind) before going for the shadow.

You can do the die with an inventory of supplies strat. With that you really don't even have to turn the head. Just deal with the special attacks

Just learn 4:0 mage and die with an inventory before dmging olm, main thing to know about olm is his head moves like a scale would if you added weight to one side and none to the other, if he’s ever looking at you try to make sure you get an auto off and then try to get his head to turn away and auto again

if u wanna make GP at COX, u pot heavily scaled raids. Max eff 1+22 without out dps alts(feeding pet chance to main) is about 28mil/hr. Takes about 2hrs for 60-61% purp chance. Potting CM/Solo, or 1+1 is more or less a waste of time if youre looking to make gp at cox.
