So I grew up in the Yukon. It's a beautiful place. When I was four I had a Grizzly break into my families home and we were in it! Scary. That said Alaska is beautiful as well. Both places share so much history, especially with the Kondike Gold Rush. If you ever have the time take a trip to both!. I promise you won't forget it.

The bears aren't what you need to fear in this DLC. It is the wolves. They actively hunt you in this and you won't know they are there until you hear a low growl right behind you.

Trev you’re on the right track going by water but you have to be there during their drink times. Different animals will have different drink zones and times! Also, you can set a tent up next to blinds so you can sleep in the tent wake up and hop straight into your blind.

I’m a level 48 on COTW. Tips: remove your large backpack. (It spooks the animals making it harder to find them) If you want to see if you killed an animal without chasing it down first, open up your map and there will be a purple circle around where you shot it. You should use the 300 bolt action. Best gun in the game and has a 4 round mag.

LOVE your call of the wild vids Trev keep ‘em coming. Some tips from someone with a few hundred hours in this game: use callers more especially when you get a mating/warning call from 200 metres or less, after spotting an animal if you go to the map and zoom in a little an icon appears on the map which is the last location you spotted the animal and you can set a waypoint on there to help you find your initial blood after a shot, also be sure to use the right calibre weapons for each animal that way you get more money an XP for taking it ethically and the medal won’t get downgraded. Anyway keep it up man I’m loving the vids!

from what I noticed hunting on YV the bears be around lakes and ponds really any inland water source to stay close to the food you’ll rarely see them out on the coast just getting water

You should check out the M1 Iwanac From The Smokin Barrels DLC It's one of the best rifles in the game and is from WW2 (Its actual Called The M1 Garand In Real Life Though) But It Could Be Interesting To Hear Some Facts About It While You Hunt.

I love watching play the hunter call of the wild i would really like to see you play silver ridge peaks its is based in Colorado you can find mountain lion, mountain goats, pronghorn, mule deer, plains bison and more and it is very good to find animals cause it is very wide open

Best way to hunt in this game it's to go around looking for them while they drinking and spot them while they are drinking this will tell you when they drink anywhere on the map you are hunting.

If you wanted to be realistic, you get up way before first light and get in the blind. Wait until dawn and you'll have some activity.

If you want a good heavy hitting gun for a lot of maps use the 7mm it can be used for classes 4-9 and not just 7-9 even though the 338 is one of the strongest guns you can’t use it for too much
