Probably not, it's a bit out of my price range and I already have two CNCs. It looks quite promising though, but we'll have to see how it compares to offerings like the Avid CNC which is in a very similar market and price point.

Glad to see you back, Welcome to the pain of backlash hunting. Counter balancing the head helps. Have your checked your column for flex when moving ? What lubricant do you use on your ballscrews ? I've seen thicker grease/oil help improve things also. I have a similar machine to you.

Thanks for the tips. There is an air cylinder in the z column to balance the weight and seems to work quite well, as the backlash in Z is the same going up or down. The grease I'm using is also quite thick, though probably not really frequently enough (no automatic system).
