Man Nate, I hunted fox squirrels many year in my earlier years, and that is one of the biggest foxes I have ever saw! Wish you would lay him next to that rabbit, bet that would really show his size (LOL). That was a great video Nate, and your pal Vin looks like a very avid squirrel hunter. Thanks for taking us along, Be Safe, and God Bless!

Y'all sure had a great hunt and that is some healthy squirrels that's just why they are there must have an abundant food source. Just from the looks of the woods it doesn't look like squirrels would be in there especially that thick that's awesome!!!

I might do some late season squirrel hunting up here in northwest Louisiana with my bolt action .410. I got a deer that needs to go on the wall before I can get on the smaller game. Much luck to everyone in the great outdoors.

Thanks Nate, for the courage on your channel to tell stupid folks reality. This has fed Louisiana since it's inception and passed on. Louisiana will continue to teach. Stop, listen and learn! Louisiana lives in me.

@@fallingtidetv what should I look out for to find good spots or know to be quiet and start watching/listening? Sorry I'm not an experienced hunter at all
@benjaminhymel60356 ай бұрын
@@bardforhire8345one of the best things you can look for is some acorns or wild nuts that look like they’ve been chewed on or there are just shards of eaten nuts everywhere. A good start for when you begin the morning is looking for some big trees that are very solid (if they’re scraggly,l-looking, they whirl in the wind, which is not good). When walking in the woods, it’s as simple as literally tiptoeing like you’re trying not to wake your parents up at 2:00 A.M. Lastly, but not least: use a shotgun, they’re very effective for when you’re within 30 yards. Hope that helps you!

What size shot you guys using?
@fallingtidetv6 ай бұрын
Too small apparently lol. I think 5 or 6 shot low brass, they were supposed to be high brass according to the box. Moral of the story don’t buy random off brand shells.
