We killed mostly ring necks and teal this season. They All taste Good 😂. A few grays and spoonies with a pair of Widgeons. The wife and I enjoy all your videos. Keep them coming 👍👍

Killed my first scaup this weekend… planning to turn them into jerky. What do you guys do with them?
@fallingtidetv8 ай бұрын
I just sear them medium rare or I put them in a stew or gumbo. Sometimes I cook them for 5-6 hours in a crock pot in beef stock and make roast.

What ever happened to the falling tide podcast? I was really enjoying the pre hunt blind talks. Regardless love your content man keep it up

A few reasons. I have a toddler now so my life extremely busy and it’s hard to manage it all. I’ve been simplifying my life a bit. Also, we’re having to travel so far these days to get on birds that we aren’t set up in time to do a podcast. Or we’re hunting divers so we are split up like on this hunt. I’m sure one day we will kick it off but for now I just do a regular podcast when I get free time.

Nate, what call is your buddy using? We do a bunch of ringneck hunting down in the Everglades.
@fallingtidetv8 ай бұрын
Just a hen mallard call. We make a growl with the call by rattling our tongue.

@@fallingtidetv yeah had a handful by the house, normally only see woodies and maybe a teal or two, So it was nice to actually shoot 3-4 species for once!!! They didn’t stay long tho
