That is one of the coolest videos I have ever seen! It reminds me of a stream that I fished in BC where big lake run rainbows were using all the log jams in a small stream to their distinct advantage!

Hi there, like your videos and suscribed. Tip to avoid manipulating the fish when measuring: With a permanent white marker, do some marks on the frame of your net, 0 inch being at the wider end. Then you'll only have to put the net flat down and you have your length. You don't even have to touch the fish

What is the favorite fly for going under the jams? For some reason i see myself getting snagged a lot on the log when drifting in. Wasnt sure if a special fly helped eith not getting snagged. Thanks so much for these beautiful videos.

You just want a heavy tungsten bead jig fly. You need the weight to keep it down in the water column where it doesn't swing up into the logs. Hope that helps!
