I lost my Shitzu which was my first dog ever as a kid to a large fox, I got home from school to find out about it and grabbed my pellet gun with rage and went out looking for it in the woods nearby, I lived in the suburbs and was walking across traffic ridden roads holding my pellet gun to get to the woods across a few streets away, never found the fox and still not sure how I didn't get the cops called on me lol

For those wondering, how he can just "go hunt and kill these things" there is an open hunting season year round in Kentucky for coyotes with no bag limit. Meaning you can harvest as many coyote as you see fit. It was also mentioned in the video how much of a problem coyotes can be to areas they are not native to. Usually DNR (department of natural resources) or state conservation departments set these year round hunting seasons to "varmint" animals or animals that should not be there. You see this also with fish and reptile harvests. #ripjoey

I had a cat who was killed by a coyote. She had three legs like Joey. (She had broken it in a garage door and had to get it amputated.) I live in a residential neighborhood. We saw our cat get hunted down on our ring camera. The coyote came up trying to get my neighbors cat on OUR BACK PATIO and chased him up a tree. My cat went under our car and saw the coyote coming back so she attempted to run up a tree, but like I said, she only had three legs. You could hear the cries for help after the coyote got her. Poor thing. We couldn’t find her for two or three days. We got our golden retriever on a leash. We let her smell a cat toy, and she went and found our poor little cat remains. (Fur and spine bone). Keep in mind our dog wasn’t a search dog or anything. We buried then remains of our poor little KitKat. R.I.P KitKat and Joey!❤❤❤ #JUSTICE4JOEYANDKITKAT

This video was on a whole different level. I'm an experienced hunter who lives in the woods of northern Minnesota. We have Bear, Wolves, Cougars, and Coyotes. I only own large dogs for that reason. Many mornings I leave the house to find the eviscerated remains of Coyotes that decided to bravely venture into my 2 German Shepards territory. Moral of the story.. if you live in a wild predators territory make sure you have dogs that are big enough and tough enough to hold their own.

This same thing happened to my best friend. My loyal dog Jack. He was ripped apart. My son went into the woods with just a machete....he never caught the coyote.
