I'm glad you are not afraid of putting up hunting hogs on youtube. A bunch of crazy Peta members could come to you're channel but I am glad there is more support for it. I always would carry a sidearm on ANY hog hunt! You never know if one might charge you and try to RIP you to shreds. My personal choice for a sidearm would be a Ruger GP100 .357 Mag. It has the stopping power of a full sized cannon, and there's 5 or even 6 more depending on which one you get. Happy Hunting, and be safe always!!

I head to Jacksonville, Texas at least once a year. Love hog hunting Texas. You're absolutely right though... Even when whitetail hunting the Burnet/Lampasas area west of Austin I carry a .45 or 10mm. Hogs are mean, run like a dog, and will kill you. After having a whitetail stand upon us after being downed, and hitting him in the forehead with two 9mm 135 gr. Critical Duty +P to find one between his hide and skull... Didn't punch through the skull... I figured a bigger bullet may be in my best interest. I wish there was a way to post that picture here. LOL! I like what you're doing here. I killed a bear with a bow and put my drag rope around it. When I started to pull it, it was facing up hill and I was pulling down hill, all of the air came out of it's lungs and it grawled at me. Picture I'm tighted to this thing and can't get away. I was reaching for my 40, can get it out of the holster, and thinking the worst. My dad and our friend was laughing so hard, as I was cleaning out my pants. One off the best hunted ever. Well noe that it's over and nothing happened. LOL. The adrenalin was such a rush. Best feeling in the world. I loved the video. Keep up the variety. Good bless
