Hi 👋 I like going to thrift stores searching for music. And sometimes i come away with nothing or i get pleasantly surprised. I'm in my sixties in age and have a large music collection. Every genre , including Rock / Pop , Jazz , Classical. I like looking for movie soundtracks , and i own quite a large collection of that.

In the classical section, I saw a Fritz Reiner Chicago Symphony - Scheherazade - Living Stereo record. Depending on the condition, that record can be worth something. Plus, it is an amazing record. A great entry point for non-classical music listeners.

Another, if you like light jazz was Bob Jones (album was touchdown. It had a picture of a football). Theme from the tv show taxi.

Shout out, Minnesota boi!! This is one of my favorite thrift stores, found a lot of great stuff there, including albums.

Two artists not to sleep on, karla Bonoff, she is a singer song writer. She did some songs for Linda Ronstadt. The other is Kitty Hawk. They are a wonderful jazz band.

I would have picked up the Kittyhawk record had the spine not been mauled by a…kitty. Same with the all of the Bob James. I do have his self-titled at home and enjoy it. Thanks so much for watching!
