Love warbaits, underspins are my favorite. Is the setup you’re using in this video too heavy for say “Long Beach breakwall?” If so what would you use there?

For the Break Wall, I suggest a 7" to 7'6" H rod. With minimum 20lb line. You never know what fish are holding on the Break Wall. Good luck!

Does that Phenix rod handle 1.5 oz baits no problem? I saw it was rated for 2-8 oz.

Yes, that Phenix can fish 1.5oz easily. That is my "go-to" calico rod and I have fished 3 - 8oz baits on it with no problem. Typically, I fish a 2oz Warbaits Head and a 5" swimbait body. Thanks!
