This reminds me of the hunts and species that only Jim Shockey does and goes after on his show! What a cool hunt and adventure to go on! Very cool species and something you don't typically think of when you hear hunting in Croatia. The conservation and collection of feces, tissues, teeth ect is really cool I'd love to see/hear the results esp of the bear you took.

Domestic meat production is far less ethical than hunting for wild meat. One aspect that is hard to wrap your head around is that hunted populations often attain higher densities than un-hunted populations since there are more younger bears and less mature males exerting negative influence on the population density due to their propensity for intraspecific predation on all smaller bears. Go educate yourself on why hunting is important before making any ridiculous statements based on your emotions.
