Not trying to be a dick - but just because this has fishtails, that doesn't make it a Chicano. This def isn't. Read up on the style, it's related back to Mexican immigrants working in fields, and that flashy but cool Mexican style. Even the way the bikes are ridden - low and slow - like parading a prize horse around. It's a pretty neat history.

Hey I have a 71 flh that needs a set of fishtails.. It looks like their are true duals and one with a cross over tube.. Which one works better?? Also vtwin has everything for a decent price.. Would you recommend Vtwin?? Paughco is $$$$

V twin stuff is junk. Go with Paughco or Vance and Hines. There isn't any performance difference between true duals and regular, only looks

Yes you can run true duals on Twin Cams,i run true duals on my 2003 anniversary Road King Screaming Eagle 103 stroker ,bike runs strong as hell and will run down my 2015 103 Fatboy .

Would you tell me why all HD pipes have a balancer pipe between them?

@@David-og7di My softail stock didn't have a cross pipe, it had a small pipe coming out of the rear cylinder pipe to the left side, the muffler on that side was rotted out inside because most of the exhaust was to the RH side, true duals opened it up, runs cooler and better except for low end, an Andrews cam took care of that. Best performance hands down is a 2 ito 1.

In my defense I won't own a bike with electronic ignition and all that computer stuff. I want a carb i run a Morris Magneto kick start only hardtail evo. No battery either something happens i WILL get home unless a tire blows . Bottom line know your bike.

@@wolfdog7265 yeah I understand 100% . I run a Morris m5 polished mag most every time it starts on one kick as it should for almost 2 grand . I love it though even had it engraved . Ride safe man !!
