Blitz, the river area that you circled at 0:50 is perfect for hunting black tail, whitetail, and moose in the morning. Get there at like 5 AM and just wait, the animals will come down to the river to drink and eat and then you can pick them off

I used to play call of the wild years ago, and loved it. I ended up really getting into hunting & bought a farm. Haven’t picked the game up since, just because real life hunting & managing the farm for the deer is a 365 day per year hobby. But I can say that the games realism is definitely there.

Blitz here is a little tip: try to use the right caliber for the animal class. For example the elk is a class 8 and u were using the 243 on it which is classes 2-6 which will not pass harvest check which ruins the trophy rating.

He also said it was fun, so as I personally have not gone hunting, it seems like something you might want to try if you get a chance.

A good way to secure field dressing is to use a portable electric fence. The lightest one out there weighs only 2.4 lbs and it’s powerful enough to deter a hungry griz. Just a suggestion

Oh Blitz I actually did get a whitetail buck on October 31st first day of youth deer season and it was a 10 point or a 8 point it was I think 15 inches wide and back antlers were 5 inches tall two points were 5 inches and the rest were 3-4 inches tall so I’m very proud of my second buck

Blitz, if you get the yukon map dlc, and get 65000 cash, which is fairly easy given the proper methods are used, you get the 300 with will make elk hunting so much easier, and the starting weapon you are using isn't ethical for elk, while the 300 is. Also, elk max at level 5, so if you see a level 5 elk it is REALLY big, and whitetail max at level 3, so take those level animals very carefully. Blacktail also max at level 5. Coyote and bear are level 9 max, and rabbits level 3 max. :) And the only ethical caliber for rabbits is the 22 . Or you can level up and get 95000 cash and get the 338 instead of the 300. And btw I can tell you put in research so thanks for not getting me triggered by messing something good up.

Blitz as a fellow hunter I will give you some tips on animals #1 if you hit the spine its a insta kill #2 if you continue to call an animal you can lead it till you get a good shot #3 if you upgrade your scoping binoculars it will give you more specific details like weight and level of the animal

Hey blits theres a place called roonaachwee thats a great white tail spot for them if you set it drinking time 12 if you want a lot more info animals you can look up anjmal zones and stuff on steam or on google and itll help you find good animals zones are theres a little lake kinda by the side of all the huge lakes you can check foe white tail its a hit or miss usually

These are the levels that all animals on Layton max on: Whitetail, rabbit, and duck: level 3 very easy Moose, elk, and black tail: level 5 medium Bear, and coyote: 9 legendary All of these levels have a chance of being the max rating (diamond), but it is not 100%! Good luck! Here’s a tip for hunting diamonds as well: Hunt body’s of water: lake, streams, rivers, etc, early morning (6-11) for the best odds. All animals are easiest to find during their drink time, which is early morning, to late afternoon in game

Blitz when a red spot appears around an area, it means the shot that hit an animal there killed the animal. Go to the center of the red spot and then track the animal from there until you find it’s body
