Hunting The Illusive Orthrus Solo In Elite Dangerous Is Absolutely Thrilling!

Learned a few things from my friends, now I am hunting the illusive Orthrus solo in Elite Dangerous, and this was such a thrilling experience! Patience, skills, luck, boldness, and a good ship - you need them all in order to succeed.

For when you tried to sneak on an Orthrus the tip is they are blind to sensors, so 0% or 1000% heat, they won't see you, all they can see is a small cone in front of them, so to sneak up just come from the sides or from behind

Cytoscrambler burst lasers are a great way to strip shields from interceptors.

After engineering, it's like Class 4 shield damage in a Class 1 size.

Hi Foxy. Good to see ya playin Elite. I came back a couple weeks ago after the FDev news and got excited for the next big update (which drops next Monday). Been moving my fleet carrier around to different systems to help the Anti Xeno Initiative. Elite has been very addicting for me lately. I do miss flying my 400i occasionally though 🤣
