One of the victims, Daniela "Dini" Torres was my childhood friend and the aunt to my son. She left behind two kids and would now be a grandmother. She's a beautiful soul who deserved so much better. She was beautiful inside and out and will never be forgotten. I continue to pray for justice for her and for her family and I hope whoever did this gets what's coming to him. I love and miss you my beautiful friend. Rest in heavenly peace. 😭💝🕯️🕊️🙏🏼

I lived in Marlboro at the time this was happening, actually there are a lot of normal looking unsavory characters running around, I encountered some scary situations just riding my bike, jogging at the Highschool and sunning at the beach, As a woman you really have to be alert and be careful no matter where you live.

I think Matthew Phelps (M. William Phelps) is awesome! I've read a few of his true crime books & watched him on other shows (he sometimes appears on "Deadly Women") and, imo, he really knows what he's talking about! "Dark Minds" ... even though this series is years old ... is really interesting! I hope 🙏 this channel continues to post more of this show! {Please!?} 😊😊😊

The perp would have to know the wooded areas that he kills in. He would have to know there were spaces within the woods that he could utilise for having his fun. I know that sounds horrible but that is exactly as he sees it. I mean, he wouldn't want to wander around heavily wooded areas looking for an attack site. He needs to know there is a safe place for him to work his horrible deeds

Death is a change of dimension. The deceased don't rest but continue their path. They are very busy, some chose to keep an eye on humans and become their guardian angels, and the others soon forget their lives on Earth and focus on the new dimension. Crying over them again and again prevents them from continuing their path peacefully. They know you loved them, let them go.

24:58 .. as a ‘local’.. there’s water EVERYWHERE around here.. it’s not exactly an indicator of something unusual.. When it comes to monsters.. unfortunately.. The minute you get so far away from any city limits, it’s woods.. for a monster like this guy, he could take them anywhere.. It’s been a long standing discussion around here, that if you even just get lost hiking, the likelihood of them EVER finding you is virtually zero.. Because the foliage accumulates so fast that if they don’t find your body within a couple years maximum, there won’t be any thing TO find.. rodents and scavengers, will chew bones and disperse them, and decomposition in forest floor debris is no joke.. I’ve been tramping the woods around here for well over 40 odd years.. and you’re lucky if you find ANY bones of something at all.. because it’s gone gone.. If you’re a hiker and you have gear, they’ll find that 100x more than any of you.. it’s scary.. So unless a person is within eyesight of regular traveled trail systems, it’s unlikely that anyone will stumble across them.. That serial killer from CT, he was “in town” and he had a “garden” of his victims planted in scrub adjacent to commercial property.. There’s just not enough people for ALL the woods to get walked over.. I love living out here, and thankfully major crime is extremely rare away from the cities.. But it means that if there IS a predator, they are in a literal playground.. pretty trusting people for the most part, and a gazillion hiding places.. The number of houses with multiple acres attached alone is huge, nevermind farms, and countless “parks” and natural reserves.. I never worried about ANYTHING until I got into true crime 20 something years ago.. now.. I take security more seriously.. My heart breaks for the families of these women.. there’s nothing more pathetic than someone who kills, especially for thrills and getting their sick twisted rocks off.. absolutely pathetic..

I watch too much true crime if I’m wondering who 13 is huh?😅 Arthur Shawcross doesn’t sound like he’s from the East Coast, 13 sounds like he’s from NY, NJ or MA… maybe ME.
