Bought a new lens halfway into making this video. Nothin crazy since I'm still learning, but I used it for the B roll which I think turned out a little better. That or uploading in 1440p. Now I just need to find a way to better light my room for the main footage and I'll be happy

24:08 Shipping that size box EMS from AmiAmi costs ¥10k to Europe. Just shipped Albedo from FuRyu that has similar size box cost me ¥10k to ship 3 weeks ago. If you’re buying from AmiAmi try buying a few things at once, I just bought 7 scales & 1 Nendoroid and shipping was only ¥20k. Total cost ¥190k for the whole order. And shipping any one of those scales on their own costs ¥5k, because 2 of the figures are part of a line and I’ve already got 6 of them, and 2 I shipped separately & it was over ¥5k each.

The robot guy is a part of a sci-fi series from the 80's called Maschinen Krieger ZbV 3000. Apparently it originally ran in Hobby Japan from 1982-1985. Neat.

5:27 She looks good for an older figure, some of the older figures still look great. I just bought my 2 oldest figures, from the manga Heavens Lost Property it’s Nymph by Plum from 2011 & Astraea by Plum from 2013, I got them preowned from AmiAmi, ¥26k for Astraea & is still sealed & unopened. But Nymph I got cheap for ¥4k because her base is discoloured. Just looking as Astraea in the box she doesn’t look like a 10 year old figure, her face looks amazing, better than figures from today. I opened Nymph just to look at the stand, but it isn’t bad, you can barely notice it’s discoloured. I can’t wait to open Astraea, hopefully I’ll get to her soon, I’ve so many figures to unbox.

26:49 I love her!! I’ve never seen this figure, I wanted a figure of her about a year ago and I couldn’t find one. I ended up getting a cheap figure from big bad toy store for around $50 I think. It’s in the exact same pose as this, but this is 100x nicer. I love Fate, I have to unbox Semiramis from Phat Company & Mash from Stronger very soon. I now have 30 scale figures in boxes haha. I’m making a manga channel but I’ll do some figure unboxing too, but it’ll be more manga focused. But I love this version of Medusa, Ana was one of my favourite characters in Babylonia, it’s probably my favourite Fate anime, the first few minutes of the first episode with Mash trapped in that room was so cool. I have to open that Mash figure soon, it has one of the nicest boxes I’ve seen, I don’t know much about the manufacturer Stronger though, don’t think I’ve seen any other figure from them.

Nice another Kagura Fan. I also hunted for years for all these Kagura figures. The other megahouse figure you mentioned is btw also based on an Gintama episode. There was a timeskip arc in which Kagura appeared looking like this. Don't want to spoil anything though 😊

Most of the figures I want are all much more expensive in the aftermarket, like the Overlord Narberal Gamma 1/8 by Alter, I’ve seen it for ¥90k haha, I’ll try get it cheaper somewhere.

Your comments and how much you spent on the Touhou figure is really making me want that Solarain Reimu now. It's a little more than what you paid right now, and is also very dynamic looking. Kind of prefer it over most of the other Reimu ones I've seen. Also that Medusa is cute, though the hair sculpt on the non-cloaked one really impressed me more. The non-cloak one, however, is apparently really expensive and not worth it to me. Maybe I'll look out for the cloak only version.

Solarain's Reimu is really nice. Not sure if I'll pick it up myself but I can understand why you like it over most of her other figures. Honestly yeah I like the cloak version more. I jumped on an opportunity to get the version with both designs but I don't think you are missing out on much by getting the standard release

@@ZuccoFigures So anyway, AmiAmi's pre-owned section went back up, and on a lark I decided to look it up. Cloak version was available at 70 bucks. I've see it going for much, MUCH higher. So I took the opportunity. I will admit I haven't seen the F/GO anime and don't really play the game much, but still a Fate fan and a fan of her expanded role in the original Stay Night story.

@@ZuccoFigures It was a B/B rating, though. I'm almost wondering if something more was wrong with it to warrant such a low price, or AmiAmi just wanted to get rid of it. Nevertheless, I am assured B is the equivalent of "it was displayed at one point in someone's home," so hopefully it was the latter. I did double check with MFC just to make sure it was the non-limited of your figure, and the image AmiAmi had was the box in MFC. There's apparently a cheap version of the character around as well, hence the double checking. Basically kind of the same. I go by 'as long as I am highly impressed with the aesthetics of the figure, I'm inclined to buy it.' Kimonos and fox girls are usually placed high on my want list regardless if I know or like the origin. I don't care for the ship girls of Azur Lane, but they have more than 1 fox girl in a kimono in their line up, as an example.

Medusa's hair is gorgeous, but the cloak look is so cute its hard to decide which to display. It kind of seems like some companies can't do chains properly or they're lazy, like that new miku figure with the chain around her neck. I think even altairs gilgamesh has chains that are filled in and some that are not - maybe chains have to be like that for structural purposes?

They are detolfs from Ikea. Honestly they used to be great buys due to their cheap price but they kept raising the price over the years(and apparently have discontinued them?). They get the job done though and I recommend them if you can't find anything else at an affordable price but you can likely find better. Most collectors tend to use them
