I have actually had deer come to me twice while cutting logs across the same track in the Gold fields and did think at rhe time I wish I had a bow with me. Couldn't believe when walking around trying to be quiet you don't see them but the opposite and they came to inspect

Hi Urban, I enjoyed your video. It talks on good principles and you are clearly understanding some key principles of hunting. Start small and build up is important, read the wind as you mentioned. Analyse the sign. Would have liked to see the rubs you thought were deer. The pellets looked deer definitely not roo or wbat. Easiest is find a footmark in crossings in soft soil by the creek etc. Even head into the deeper cover to find animals. Glad to see you wearing blaze 👍. Keep up the good work. Any questions I can help on let me know! Cheers Matt

Thanks Matt. I'm glad you liked the vid. I have been a follower of yours for ages so that means a lot. I have been meaning to head back to that spot and do some more in depth searching into that scat but haven't had the time. I actually looked near the creek in multiple spots where the game trails cross for prints and didn't see any deer prints at all. Just lots of Roo's. Next time i go ill try to make an updated vid with hopefully an animal on the ground.. or at least some answers for that scat. Thanks again mate. Cheers Jamie

Hi Mate, glad you liked the vid. It was nothing special as far as a hunting video, but it does show some nice Victorian bush with abit of history. Im pretty sure our email is in the video description. Feel free to reach out to me that way. Im more than happy to have a chat. Cheers mate and have a good one. 👍 Jamie

Yeah maybe hey. I haven't seen any actual sign of deer in this area........ yet. Definitely needs more investigation though. Lets hope it is a red deer though. Cheers Jamie
