Dude Bobcats are just overgrown house cats lol. They're overwhelmingly skittish and will do everything in their power to avoid contact with humans. If you manage to force one into a corner enough to make it attack you (highly unlikely, you're more likely to get struck by lightning honestly), then worst case scenario you could probably take it on with a stick and mean left hook no problem. They're about the size of a medium breed dog such as a Lab with slightly longer legs and maxing out at around 40 lbs to *maybe* 50 lbs max and with a much smaller mouth and smaller teeth. My two Chesapeake Bay Retrievers weigh in at nearly twice that at around 70 pounds and 80 pounds respectively, and back in the day my one female Chesapeake and female Australian Shepherd mix (65ish and 55 - 60 pounds respectively) I had when I lived down in Georgia actually killed a younger adult male Bobcat and left it on my friggin' porch stoop. They escaped that fight with nothing but a few scratches surprisingly. Trust me, Bobs are especially cautious of people and tend to be long gone before you ever even get close enough to see 'em. They don't wanna be anywhere near you...
