I'm Jealous AF Bossman! I ain't gonna lie. Catching 'Slab Crappie' up here in the Midwest is like winning on a 'Scratch Off 'Lottery ticket'. We don't have a 10" minimum length, so that tells you that the crappie here aren't built like those in the south, so catching them is like catching 'Unicorns'. I appreciate the content brother, and maybe when I make a trip down to Houston to visit my cousin, I'll bring my boat with me, and get him to point me in the right direction to the lakes where the 'Slabs' are. Unfortunately, he's never went fishing, so he can't 'put me on 'em'.

I’m in Colorado and we have a 10” min size on crappie. Not sure how far you are from Adobe Creek Reservoir but there’s 14” slabs in there all day.

I used to fish all the time when I was younger and I’ve never caught a crappie. Haven’t really fished from a boat, except when. Was on Lake Erie fishing for Walleye. Those are some nice looking crappie and I’ve heard they taste fantastic. Bossman keep on putting in that work
