Here in north Georgia, leasing hunting land is a rich man’s game. All of the big money Atlanta hunters have driven land lease prices through the roof. Glad y’all got a lease to run dogs on, proud for y’all.

@@voidboy9862 It is becoming true in many places about money and leases. I am in northwest Florida and I have gotten to the age when I enjoy seeing the critters. I have deer in the swamp creek that runs by my property and have no wish to shoot anything things these day and I see my white english farm dogs will leave the deer alone also, but they kill any predator that comes my way except for the water moccasins.

Hey there Mr Boss! I'm just amazed at how alike hunt leases are wherever you go. I've been on several leases like your newest. We call them nursery pines in NC and FL. You are spot on making the lanes wider and longer. I'm sure you know deer are going to use existing paths to get where they are going. We hunted pretty much the same stands that you guys use with a 16ft tripod being my favorite. I wrapped it with a layer of burlap camo and just stacked up deer, bobcats, wild dogs, squirrels and rabbits. That burlap camo covered everything, including human scent. I put a water ski boats rear view on my stand so I could see behind me and that eliminated most all my movements. All you needed camo wise is a face mask. Those tripods are super easy to bow hunt out of too. I'm done hunting I guess. All the land is bought up in NC. I had access to a small lease in Chattahoochee, FL. but my buddy got married and that ended that. My health isn't good enough to be out by myself and all things good have to end. My hunting will be on your videos! Your new house is just about perfect. How the hell they trashed your bathtub is beyond me. You know they saw it was destroyed and they installed it anyways? I've never seen scented corn of any flavor. That's cool. I do have a persimmon tree in the front yard and when the persimmons start hitting the ground in the fall the deer will scarf them up before we have a chance to gather enough to make persimmon preserves. Persimmon wood smoked meat is interesting as well.

Sometimes you can get a deal on Land with Timber,,my Dad bought 400 acres north of Pensacola back in 80's. It had alot of Pine's,,,Dad sold the Timber, just the Pines off of it,,,,he made enough to pay off the land and pocketed over a 100 thousand along with getting the land for Free. All kinds of Hardwoods then took over the land and it was Great Deer Hunting, i think people are on to this nowdays, but you never know,,,take care and maybe we can Hunt together some day

Youll get better mileage out of the protein in a protein feeder rather than speading it on the ground mixed with corn. You can build one pretty easily. You can even make smaller ones and attach them to the pines too.
