Australia has got some really beautiful houses, but the best part is they know how to make big spaces WARM & homely! 👍🏻

Check out New Zealand for really interesting architecture and not just houses for the rich.

Yeah Whatever Are you a Kiwi? Then look around. Kiwis have always had to be innovative. They are at further from everyone else, a country without all the advantages that Australia has, but without all the influence or pressure to be the same. Sure, the homes built after WW2 are plain. I know, I grew up in Auckland in one of them, but by the sea, free and happy. Since the 1960’s there have been really interesting houses built. My ancestors, a Dutch shipwright and an English seaman, who married Maori women, were whalers in Mohaka on the East coast. My cousin still lives there in a house that overlooks the bay, simple but beautiful. Wellington is full of amazing buildings hanging from the hills. Are you just a disgruntled expat or a connoisseur of architecture? Whatever, don’t be such a grump.

That upper level area is exactly how I picture my dream place. That entrance massive, the room is airy. It's like you're on top of the world. Rules don't exist. Plus those are all the rooms I would need.

Gorgeous sunny home, I love it and that view is to die for! Love the hidden pantry room and the garden on different levels. Not normally a fan of black, but it really works in this house with the warm wood and loads of natural light to keep it from becoming oppressive. Would move in tomroow if I could.

Well, that's a swell house! I like the way it projects just enough on the landscape to edit the neighbors out of view. Nice combinations of materials and volumes. Spectacular views. Nice, crisp color shifts between white bricks, natural woods and black painted walls with bright white accent surfaces. Nice functional flow of spaces.

Such a beautiful house! I love the contrast between the colours and textures. Just an input though, I noticed you said very similar things at the end of your other videos - either the house is amazing, beautiful or just great in general. Perhaps you can put your own twist in it and let us know what you'd add or get rid of if it's yours? ✌️
