Great company. 97% of their free cash flow has gone back to the shareholder over the last several years. Only company that makes aircraft carriers for the US Navy.

One question, why is your required rate of return only 7.5%? At that level we might as well just be buying an index fund?

Depends on what you think about the risks of index funds.

He usually does 7.5% but then wants a margin of safety as well so it actually ends up being more of return. In this case if you buy the stock now your rate or return will be pretty decent.

@@Jessy-tv7yu fair point, I forgot about this as not mentioned in the calculation spreadsheet. Mind you I'd personally want the margin of safety and a higher required rate of return. Margin of safety is more to reduce losses rather than maximise gains in case things don't plan out. I would have thought a RRR of at least 10-12% would be more worth buying in at or I'd just buy the s&p

I would definitely say real estate at first, and would be the best investment overall. but investing in properties you don’t live in takes physical effort.. where investing in the computer is passive and becoming very lucrative.

I can correctly say she's worth her salt as a financial adviser as her diversification skils are top notch/ I say because i see that in her results as my portfolio grows by averages of 10 to 15% on a monthly basis,

@@robowich NAV på 24. Stabil kassa. Bra rika områden de äger mark på. Mer fokus i bostadsmarknad. Deras investeringar kommer visa sig 2023 och frammåt. De har fått billiga lån under covid. Stort förtroende för ledningen. Ekonomin har varit stabil under finanskrisen och nu under covid. Bra historik.

I have their fair vaule at around 150 per share based on the current and past financial data. Those analyst estimates too high to me bit maybe I'm missing something about their future projects

I like american defence companies. The US being a superpower is as good as it gets. If you do not want war, you need a big stick to deter the bullies. Without the US, there would be a power vacuum. The americans are our friends and only ally and their goals are mostly aligned with ours. They have a decent process of handling things and they trade rather than exploit.

@@LearntoInvest p/b ratio is 2.94% above industry, eps last 5y is declining, it has worst Debt to Equity ratios in its industry 80%, dividend rate of HII has been growing, while earnings is declining, its a good company but not at current price. Good work!

Hello @Mistran , might be the average of the S&P as a base reference, I was also asking this and started watching videos from the playlists available. Probably the video with the DCF method will explain why he uses this. Did not manage to watch it yet.

Great video, I have not heard of HII, but a stock to look into for sure! I just posted a video the other day on 5 dividend kings that are not only undervalued but poised to grow... talk about defensive plays.. each company was founded in the early 1900s and remain a necessity today & beyond.. not to mention they all have 50+ years of dividend increases, ahh talk about easy money and defensive, safe plays!

I did visit your channel and looked at the content , it falls behind channels like LearnToInvest. Need more DD from you and a lot of research into individual stocks is what I feel like. Interesting to see the difference in your discounted free cash flow number against the number I get from the stock analyser tool from Everything Money. The analyser tool on my slightly conservative assumptions have this stock around $150 per share, so in that case it looks over priced. It looks to me that the analysts estimates project growth faster than this company has had in the past. I'd rather pull back those estimates so we get more value in the assumption price.
