Thanks for this video. It was very useful for my own hike up Huntington yesterday.

Jean St-Cyr I loved it! It was an intense climb for me and had me feeling pretty accomplished by the end. Great views the whole way up! Couldn't have asked for better weather when I went - upper 50s (Fahrenheit) at the summit and sunny.

Great video. I've done this trail before very fun, and it can get intense if you make one wrong move.

I've gone up the Tuckerman Ravine trail twice. It takes about 4 hours to get to the summit going this route.

merci pour le video! deja montre Tuckerman en automne et en hiver....j'aimerais essayer Huntington ravine...est ce qu'ilya des sections apique plus que 40 degree? merci
@SantaWax6 жыл бұрын
Have fun!

I've summited Mt Washington via Huntington Ravine only once and it was in winter. We went straight up Central Gulley. It might be easier than the summer route as long as your have crampons and ice axes. Of course it's cooler in February.

Video is good. Audio is terrible. Turn it off unless you want a migraine.

wonderful video. Thanks for uploading. Question -- the temperatures here really dropped while descending. Can somebody help identify how the weather would bein last week may or 1st week June approx? (planning to climb this around that time with warmer temperatures by the side)

Take a look at the Mount Washington Observatory where you can find the average weather for that month: www.mountwashington.org/experience-the-weather/mount-washington-weather-archives/normals-means-and-extremes.aspx

such a fun hike. I've done every other trail combination on that mountain many times but Huntington only one. 2002. What a climb that beast is!

+Todd Smith Huntington ravine is one of the trail that I would do many many times without getting rid of it. So many tricky scrambling moves that are fun.

Jean St-Cyr I whole heartedly agree. If I hadn't gone through five spine surgeries since I climbed it I'd likely be on it at least once a year! I could, and did, do it after one surgery but I now have 21 screws, one plate and five rods holding my spine together and I'm not able to do some things! But I've got my awesome memories!
